Nassington & Yarwell Joint Burial Committee
The Joint Burial Committee comprises representatives appointed by Nassington Parish Council and Yarwell Parish Council to manage the Nassington and Yarwell Cemetery, which sits between the two villages.
The cemetery was established in 1882, following the closure of the churchyards in each of the villages, to coffin burials.
Funeral arrangements are usually made through the services of Funeral Directors. We work closely with Funeral Directors to ensure that the funeral is carried out in accordance to the families wishes.
Graves can either be purchased through your Funeral Director at the time of need or purchased ahead of time by filling in the Application for Exclusive Right of Burial form and send it to burials@nassington.org.uk

The interment of cremated remains can be arranged through either a Funeral Director or privately through the Parish Council. For anyone wishing to arrange a private cremation interment, please fill in the Application for Interment form and send it to burials@nassington.org.uk

Memorials may be placed on grave and cremation spaces six months after interment. Headstones can be arranged through professional monumental masons, as specific rules guide their construction and placement.
We also allow other types of memorials on these spaces. Please refer to our Cemetery Guidelines below for more details
